Lasagna by Ed

Ingredients

Meat sauce ingredients 6 cloves minced garlic 2 medium onions diced 1-28 ounce cans of San Marzano tomatoes 2 jars prepared spaghetti sauce 1 cup grated parm cheese 2 tbs salt 2 tbs oregano 2 tbs basil 2 lbs meatloaf mixture

Instructions

Meat sauce...
Brown meat mixture and onions. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Drain meat mixture. Add San Marzano tomatoes and mash tomatoes. Add prepared sauce, cheese, oregano,basil and salt. Simmer for 1 hour.

Cheese mixture...
Combine all ingredients. Mix together lightly.

Cook lasagne noodles al dente. (About 7 minutes) Drain and rinse under cold water.

Coat bottom of baking dish with meat sauce. Layer noodles to cover bottom. . Top with a layer of sauce and cheese mixture . Next, a layer of mozzarella. Repeat with another layer noodles sauce, cheese mixture, mozzarella. Bake covered in 375 degree oven about 30 minutes. Uncover and broil to brown topping.
