Beef Stew by Bradley7

Ingredients

1 lb. stew beef (trimmed) I use steak tips 1 package of carrots (peeled and sliced) 6-8 medium sized white potatoes (peeled and diced) 2 whole onions 1/4 cup flour 2 Tbs oil 2 beef bouillon cubes I use beef broth instead of bouillon and water 8 cups of water

Instructions

Coat stew beef with flour.
Add 2 T of oil to an 8 quart pan.
Brown stew beef on all sides.
Add onions, water and bouillon.
Season with salt and pepper
Simmer for 1 1/2 hours- stir occoassionally
Add sliced carrots and continue to simmer for 30 miniutes.
Add diced potatoes and cook for 15 minutes.
