Garlicky Parmesan Asparagus by BB

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon butter 1/4 cup olive oil 2 cloves garlic minced ( I used 3 ) 1 pound asparagus spears, trimmed 2 teaspoons lemon juice ( I used lime ) salt and pepper to taste ( I didn't use any ) Garnish Shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

Combine butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic: saute' for 1 - 2 minutes. Add asparagus and cook to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Drain; sprinkle asparagus with lemon juice; salt and pepper. Arrange on a serving platter, sprinkle with parmesan. Makes 4 servings.
