Extra Meaty Christmas Lasagne by
1 lb. ground beef 8 oz. Italian sausage (casings removed) 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni, chopped 2 jars (24 oz. each) Marinara sauce 1 container (15 oz.) Ricotta Cheese 1 egg 2 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan Cheese 9 Lasagne noodles, cooked and drained 2 tbsp sliced fresh basil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In nonstick skillet, over medium heat, cook beef, sausage and pepperoni, stirring until cooked through, 10-12 minutes. Drain. Reserve 1 1/2 cup sauce. Combine remaining sauce with meat mixture. In a bowl combine Ricotta and egg, stir in 1 cup of Mozzarella and Parmesan. Spread 1/2 reserved Marinara sauce in 13x9 " dish. Top with 3 lasagne noodles, 1/2 of cheese mixture and 3 cups meat sauce. Repeat with remaining noodles, cheese mixture and meat sauce ending with noodles. Pour remaining sauce on top. Cover with foil. Bake until hot and bubbly, 50 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella. Bake uncovered until melted, 5-7 more minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle with basil.
