Garlic Sautéed Kale with Apples by Allen Neighborhood Center

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil 1 clove of Veggie Box garlic, minced 2 Veggie Box apples, cored and cut into bite-size pieces 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar 1/8 teaspoon sea salt 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper 4 cups chopped Veggie Box kale leaves

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook and stir minced garlic until fragrant.



Add apples, vinegar, salt, and pepper; cover skillet and cook until apples are tender, about 3 minutes.



Add kale; cover and cook until kale is tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
