Chex Muddy Buddies (Puppy Chow) by
Ingredients
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup peanut butter
9 cups chex cereal, any variety
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
In 1 quart microwavable bowl, mix chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave uncovered on high for 1 minute. Stir.
Microwave 30 sec. longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in
vanilla.
In a large bowl, place cereal. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
Pour into 2 gal. food storage plastic bag.
Add powdered sugar. Seal bagl shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool about 30 minute .
Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
