My Chilli Recipe by
Ingredients
500g mince
1 onion, chopped
1 can chopped tomatoes (I use budget)
1 can chilli beans (I use pam's mild chilli beans @ pak n save)
1 tsp salt
Buns for serving (buy "yesterdays bake" from pak n save when on special & freeze, or some other cheap buns, they don't need to be really fresh, or could use rice instead)
Instructions
I use a large stove top fry pan.
Fry onion in a bit of oil for 2mins.
Add mince, brown it.
Add tomatoes, chilli beans & salt.
Let cook on low-med heat for further 10mins.
While that's cooking, cut buns in half, lay on baking sheet & grill in the oven on the top shelf for 5mins or til golden/crunchy.
Serve chilli over buns.
(Add a side of green vege to be healthy - boil a small brocolli or some silverbeet etc)
