Pecan Cheddar Crisps by

Ingredients
1/2 c butter (must be butter)
1/2 C. finely shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 t. ground cayenne pepper
1 C. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/2 t. Cajun seasoning
1/4 t. paprika
1/2 C. pecan halves
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together butter and cheese. In a separate bowl, mix pepper, flour and salt, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Add to butter and cheese mixture and mix well..
Shape dough into 1” balls, Place 2” apart on ungreased baking sheets. Top each with a pecan half, pressing down to flatten. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until golden. Cool on wire rack. Freezes well.
