Broccoli cheddar soup by Alissaxshafer

Ingredients

1/2 stick of butter 1 diced onion 2 tbsp minced garlic 1/2 cup flour 2 cups chicken stock 1 cup heavy whipping cream 3 cups chopped broccoli 2 cups shredded carrots 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tbsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

Melt butter in a pot with onion and garlic

Season with salt and pepper when softened

Mix in flour until incorporated

Add in chicken stock and heavy whipping cream

Bring to a simmer

As in broccoli and carrots

Bring to a simmer and cover for 10 minutes

Mix in shredded cheese and remaining seasonings
