Ingredients

For (3)10" Waffles For (6) 10" Waffles 1 3/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour 3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour 1 Tablespoon baking powder 2 Tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon salt 2 beaten egg yolks 4 beaten egg yolks 1 3/4 cups milk 3 1/2 cups milk 1/2 cup salad oil or melted shortening 1 cup salad oil or melted shortening 2 stiffly beaten egg whites 4 stiffly beaten egg whites

Instructions

Sift together dry ingredients. Combine yolks, milk, and oil; stir into dry ingredients. Fold in whites, leaving a few fluffs. Bake. (bake each waffle for 4 minutes. (note: time may vary depending on waffle iron used!)
