Veggie Savoury Mince by elysedorothy

This is suitable for home freezing.

Ingredients

450g Quorn Mince 1 large onion, diced 1 tbsp vegetable oil 150ml water 1 vegetable stock cube 1 tsp salt Pinch of pepper 2 tbsp cornflour

Instructions

1. Heat the oil and add the mince and onions on a medium heat. Stir occasionally so it doesn't burn.

2. After about 5 minutes add the water and stir well until the liquid starts to simmer.

3. Sprinkle in stock cube and stir until dissolved. Lower heat and let the mixture bubble gently for 15-20 minutes.

4. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Mix cornflour with 2 tbsp of cold water and, stirring the quorn mixture all the time, pour the cornflour paste in. The mixture will thicken and start to look clearer.
