Burgundy Beef Balls by 7heather

Ingredients

2 lbs 80/20 ground beef 3/4 cup California Burgundy or other red dinner wine 3/4 cup fine, dry breadcrumbs 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1.5 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

Combine ground beef with all other ingredients in large bowl and mix well.

Shape into small balls, using a rounded teaspoon for each.

Brown a few at a time in small amount of oil.
Add to Mushroom Sauce and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Chill until serving time, then reheat slowly.
