Ingredients

16 Ounces (2 Cups) Chick Peas or Garbanzo Beans
1/8 Cup Reserved Liquid from Can or Liquid from Drained Beans
3-6 Tbsp. Lemon Juice According to Taste
1 1/2 Tbsp. Tahini
2 Cloves Crushed Garlic
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2-3 Dashes of Tabasco Sauce

Instructions

Combine ingredients in blender or food processor and add liquid from beans/peas. Start with 1/8 cup liquid and 3 Tbsp. lemon juice. Taste and add additional liquid and lemon juice as desired. Place in a serving bowl and make a well for 2 Tbsp. olive oil. Garnish with parsley, paprika and/or green onions and serve with fresh veggies, toasted pita bread and/or crackers.
