1 box Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/8 cup of water (if needed)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts - optional)

Preheat oven to 350
Mix cake mix, eggs, butter, brown sugar, water and vanilla extract together in a large bowl. Stir with spoon until thorough blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (optional). Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on pan, then transfer to cooling racks. Store in airtight container. Makes 3 to 4 dozens.
