Nut Roll-Easter by

Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 c. lukewarm milk
1 c. melted oleo
3 eggs-well beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. salt
5 c. flour

Instructions

Melt oleo, add, milk, sugar and eggs. Mixture must be lukewarm. Mix (sift) flour, salt and yeast. Mix into first mixture and knead together for 10 minutes. Cover with a cloth and let it raise overnight. Divide dought into 2 parts. Roll out and brush with melted oleo, add nuts, sprinkle a little more oleo on top and roll up. Place on ungreased pan and let set for 3 hours. Brush tops with beaten egg.

Bake for 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Filling: 2 lbs. nuts ground very fine
Rind of lemon
Cinnamon
Sugar to taste
