Fig Brie en Croute by

Ingredients

1 Round Brie
1-8 oz Marcona Almonds
1 Jar Fig Spread (I use Dalmatia)
1 Package Puff Pastry (I use Dufour's)
(I got all of the above ingredients at Whole Foods)
1 Egg

Instructions

Preheat Oven to 350º
1. Open Puff pastry on cookie sheet
2. Cut the Brie into 2 halves
3. Place first 1/2 of Brie on one side of the puff pastry
4. Cover Brie 1/2 with Fig Spread and Almonds
5. Place second half of brie on top
6. Pull other side of pastry sheet to cover Brie.
7. Seal edges of puff pastry to lock in brie and spread mixture as they melt.
8. Brush pastry with egg wash
Bake in 350 oven for 20-30 minutes (It should be a golden brown)
Let sit for 10 minutes to set melted Brie.
