Vidalia Divan by

Ingredients

2 cups cooked, chopped chicken ( use honey roasted )
1-1/2 cups chopped sweet onions
1 cup sour cream
1- 10 3/4 oz. can of cream of broccoli
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
one or two stalks of broccoli- stalks taken off and florets cut into small bite size pieces
one package of slivered almonds browned in oven

Topping
4-5 sleeves ( if using small box) of Ritz crackers crushed ( 1 sleeve if using large box)
1/2 bar melted butter
Melt butter and then mix with crackers to moisten
Brown 1-2 small packets of almonds in 1/4 bar of butter ( don't burn )

Instructions

Heat oven to 350. Butter a 2 quart casserole. In a large bowl combine the chicken, broccoli, onions, sour cream, soup and cheese and browned almonds. Mix well. Pour into casserole dish. Combine the browned almonds and the crushed crackers. Spread the almonds and cracker mixture over the casserole. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
