1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 cup water 3 eggs 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1/2 lb. butter or margarine, softened 1 Tbs. pure vanilla extract 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 lb. caramels 1 lb. pecan halves

Mix half of the sweetened condensed milk with the cake mix, vanilla, water, eggs, butter or margarine and oil. Divide mixture in half. Spread half the mixture in a 9x13 inch baking pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes.
