Weeknight Barbecue Chicken Sandwich by JMAK

Ingredients

1 rotisserie chicken 1 cup barbecue sauce* 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup wine vinegar 6 hamburger buns 1 small red onion, thinly sliced dill pickle relish or slaw, to serve

Instructions

Remove skin and bones from chicken, shred meat In 2-quart saucepan, combine chicken, barbecue sauce, water, and vinegar. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until hot, stirring frequently.

Toast buns in hot skillet. Spread relish on bun, spoon chicken on bottom half of bun, top with onion and other half of the bun.

Serve with french fries or potato chips.

* I prefer Jack Daniels Original Spicy sauce.
