Old-Fashioned Baked Macaroni & Cheese by Jonathan

Ingredients

8oz large elbow macaroni 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded 3 tbsp butter 1 tsp salt 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper 1/2 cup milk 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs

Instructions

Boil macaroni per package directions. In a 2qt baking dish, layer macaroni, cheese, and bits of butter, salt, and cayenne pepper. Continue layers until all ingredients are used. Whisk milk and egg togeter and pour over the top. Cover with buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes.
