Pyzy (Polish potato dumplings) by varchar

Ingredients

- potatoes: 4kg - salt - wheat flour (for coating): few tbsp

Instructions

1. Boil 1 kg of potatoes in salted water.
2. Grate the rest of raw potatoes and squeeze the water into the bowl. Drain the water from the bowl and add the starch to the potatoes.
3. Make sure that both parts (boiled one and drained raw ones) weigh the same.
4. Mash the boiled potatoes and add to the grated ones. Add salt, mix and form 18 balls (3 per person). Coat in flour.
5. Put them to a boiling salted water. Take them out about 5 minutes after they resurface and drain.

Serve with fried bacon and onions.
