Chocolate Energy Balls by melc

Ingredients

1/2 cup walnuts 1 cup almonds 1 cup dates - soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes. 2 heaped tbsp cacao 2tbsp cacao butter 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted) 1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

Blitz the walnuts and almonds together in a food processor until they become small crumbs.

Add the dates, cacao powder, cacao butter, coconut oil and vanilla essence and process until everything is well mixed and resembles a smooth dough.

Roll into balls and refrigerate for at least three hours or until firm
