You don't need to add the chocolate but i like to add it as it gives a rich chocolate taste yet each ball only has roughly 1/4 of a square of chocolate. Very little chocolate and satisfies your sweet tooth!

Ingredients

1 cup of raw almonds 1/4 cup of cashews 3/4 cup of pitted dates 1/4 cup of desiccated coconut (shredded also works) The rind and juice of 1 orange 1 tbsp of cacao powder 6 squares of 72% dark chocolate For the outside coating: desiccated coconut

Instructions

1: Place the almonds, dates, coconut, cinnamon, cacao powder and vanilla in a blender or food processor and blend until the almonds are fine.
2: Grate the orange, getting as much zest as you can and place this into the blender along with the juice of the orange. Blend until all the ingredients are combined.
3: Roll the mixture into small balls, this should make around 13-16.
4: Place the rest of the desiccated coconut into a shallow cup and roll each ball individually into the coconut, make sure the coconut is evenly covered on each bliss ball.
5: Place the bliss balls in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.
