Mom's Coffee Cake by Jessica


Yellow Cake Mix- 1 Box (I use the kind with the pudding in the mix) Vanilla Instant Pudding/Pie Filling- 1 Package Eggs- 4 Oil- 3/4 Cup Water- 3/4 Cup Butter- 1/4 Cup (softened) Flour- 1/3 Cup Cinnamon- 3/4 tsp. Sugar- 1/2 Cup Drizzle Icing (Duncan Heinz Vanilla Drizzle in a bottle)


-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-Mix first 5 ingredients together. (yellow cake mix, vanilla instant pudding, eggs, oil, and water) Mix on medium speed for 6-7 minutes.
-Grease 9x13 cake pan or Bundt pan.
-Dust pan with cinnamon sugar mixture around sides and bottom.
-Put about half of the batter (first 5 ingredients mixture) in the pan.
-Then cover batter with cinnamon sugar mixture.
-Pour remaining batter in pan.
-In mixing bowl add flour to remaining cinnamon and sugar mixture. (this will be for the topping)
-Cut softened butter into the flour, cinnamon & sugar mixture. (I add more butter and cinnamon sugar. I like a lot of topping)
-Top batter with this mixture.
-Bake 50-60 minutes.
-Cool and drizzle with icing as you desire.
