Mandarin Duet Salad by Elaine Remez

Ingredients

Orange Gelatin Ring 6 oz. orange-flavored gelatin 2 cups boiling liquid (water or fruit juice) 1 pt. orange sherbet 1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained Ambrosia Fruit Salad 1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained 1 can (13 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained 1 cup flaked coconut 1 cup sour cream or 1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped 1 cup cut-up or miniature marshmallows

Instructions

Orange Gelatin Ring

Dissolve gelatin in boiling liquid. Immediately add orange sherbet and stir until melted. Add oranges. Pour into 1 1/2 qt. ring mold and chill until firm. Unmold and fill center with Ambrosia Fruit Salad.

Ambrosia Fruit Salad

Mix all ingredients. Chill several hours or overnight.
