Spicy Dill Pickles (Lucille) by
Ingredients
1/4 c salt
1 c vinegar
1/4 t alum
6" whole cucumbers
whole red peppers
dill seed
peeled garlic cloves
Instructions
Place cucumbers in clean, quart jars. Add a whole red pepper, 1T dill seed and 1 clove garlic to each jar. Bring salt, vinegar and alum to a boil. Pour over cucumbers and seal.
