Beef Stew Burgandy w/Dumplings by cpeirson

Ingredients

1 lb stew meat s&p to taste 1/4 c flour EVOO 1/4 c burgandy wine 1 can beef consumme 1 yellow onion, sliced ~~~~~~~~~~ Bisquick dumplings w/chives

Instructions

Preheat oven to 300. Dredge beef in flour mixed with s&p. Brown in oil on all sides. Place small roasting pan and add all other ingredients. Bake 2 hrs. Prepare dumplings according to package adding 1 t chopped chives. Cover and continue baking until dumplings are done. Can thicken the gravy with additional flour/water mixture if needed.
