Slow cooker pork loin with mushroom and onion gravy and mashed potatoes by janine

Ingredients

Crock pot 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 packet French onion soup dry mix 1 cup of water Small deep bowl to mix soup and water in Fresh green beans or vegetable of your choice Pot or vegetable steamer for your vegetables 6 large russet or Yukon potatoes scrubbed, peeled and cubed Pot for potatoes Knife and cutting board 3 lb pork loin rinsed 1/2 to a cup of milk 1/4 to a half a stick of butter salted Stand or hand mixer with bowl and paddle attachment Strainer

Instructions

Rinse your pork in cold water and place in crock pot fat side up or you can trim your fat . Scrub your sink with disinfectant spray after rinsing the pork to get rid of any bacteria from spreading .
Mix soup mixes with water pour onto pork
Cover crock pot cook on low 8-10 hours or high 6 hours . It depends on the size of the pork
Once meat is 45 minutes from being done , scrub , peel and cube the potatoes add to the pot cover with cold water enough to cover the potatoes add salt . Boil on high when you see a rolling boil , lower to medium heat cover and cook the potatoes 30 minutes or until soft .
Once the potatoes are cooked drain them and add them to the mixer mix on low speed add milk and butter mix until you get the consistency that you like .
Cut the pork once it’s fully cooked into bite size pieces and return to the crock pot to keep it at the right temperature. Plate once you have everything prepared serve and enjoy . This gravy recipe works well with beef roast as well .
