Salisbury steak meatballs and gravy by janine

Ingredients

1-2 pounds of ground beef 1 cup of bread bread crumbs 3-4 eggs 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp of oil one container of beef stock 1/4 flour 1/4 cup of butter 1 pound of potatoes peeled and diced one large container of chicken broth One large bowl to mix meat in One large frying pan for the meatballs One large pot to cook meatballs in the gravy One cutting board and sharp knife and potato peeler Large pot to boil the potatoes strainer to strain potatoes chicken broth to boil the potatoes in for flavor potato masher and milk and butter

Instructions

Heat a large frying pan with 1 tsp of oil over medium heat
In large mixing bowl mix the meat, bread crumbs, eggs, seasoning, Worcestershire sauce.

Shape into meatballs and fry on each side until golden brown about 8-10 minutes and until no longer pink inside.

Once cooked drain on a paper towel to drain grease set aside and keep warm.

In the pan with the meat drippings, add 1/4 cup of butter and melt down, add in the flour and cook for two minutes until fully cooked down. next add in the beef stock and bring to a boil , then simmer on low for 8-10 minutes or until thickened.

Add meatballs into a large pot then add gravy over it and bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes with lid on the pot.

Next peel your potatoes if you choose to, if not leave skin on and rinse well and cut into uniform small pieces add to large pot, pour chicken broth on the potatoes and add a pinch of salt not much as the broth is salty bring to a boil.

once boiling reduce to medium heat and boil 15-20 minutes. Drain potatoes and add back to pot.

Add milk, butter and salt and mash until consistency you like.

Serve the meatballs over the mashed potatoes and serve with a vegetable of your choice.
