Good N Easy Beef Stroganoff by bobodoll

Ingredients

2 lbs sirloin or round steak cut into finger-size strips garlic powder salt & pepper butter 1 pt sour cream (2 cups) 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 8 oz can sliced mushrooms

Instructions

Brown meat in butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt & pepper. Put in crock pot. Mix together mushrooms, sour cream and soup. Pour over meat and mix together. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.


Mrs. Anna Mary McDonough had different cooking instructions, but mom and I like cooking in the crock pot. She also used half the sour cream and mushroom soup, and she didnít add mushrooms. Here are Mrs McDonough's instructions:

Brown meat in butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt & pepper. Put in casserole. Mix together sour cream and soup. Pour over meat. Cover and bake about 2-3 hours. Start at 350 degrees, then when bubbling, lower oven to 300 degrees and continue baking.
