Pumpkin Bread by TRobinson

Ingredients

3 cups granulated sugar 1 cup salad oil 4 eggs, beaten 1 16oz can pumpkin 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon allspice 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2/3 cup water 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

1. Cream sugar and oil together. Add eggs and pumpkin. Mix well.
2. Sift dry ingredients together; add dry ingredients, alternating with water to the pumpkin mixture. Fold in nuts. Pour into well-greased loaf pans.
3. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.

Makes 2 loaves.
