Summer time Hummus Pesto Dip by Nielsen

Ingredients

(2) 15-19 ounce cans garbanzo beans (chick peas) drained with reserving 3/4 cup liquid 4 cloves garlic, peeled 1 small sweet onion(yellow or purple)cut into chunks 1 bunch parsley, cleaned and stems removed 1/2 cup shelled walnuts 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1/4 cup olive oil 1 cup or more of fresh basil 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Blend garbanzo beans and reserved liquid in a food processor until smooth..... blend in the rest of the ingredients and process until smooth.
