Candied Walnuts by Emily Andreozzi

Great on the beet and goat cheese salad.

Ingredients

1/4 CUP Powdered Sugar 1/8 TSP Cayenne 1/8 TSP Salt 4 OZ. Walnuts

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. While oven is preheating, blanch the walnuts in a large pot for 3 minutes. Drain and roll.
3. Mix dry seasonings in a bowl. Stir in walnuts.
4. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes rotate pan.
