Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls by LoLo

Ingredients

1 cup crunchy peanut butter 1/2 stick butter or stick margarine,softened 1 cup powdered sugar 2 cups Rice Krispies 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 Tbls. Shortening 54 paper mini-muffin cups

Instructions

In a large mixer bowl, combine the peanut butter, butter and sugar on medium speed. Add Krispies.
Roll rounded teaspoonsful into balls. Place each ball in a paper cup on a cookie sheet. Refrigerate.
Melt chocolate and shortening in a small saucepan, over low heat, stirring constantly. Spoon 1 teaspoonful chocolate over each ball. Refrigerate until firm. Store in airtight container in fridge.
