Sour Cream Cookies (Arnold) by

Ingredients
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 t. flavoring (like vanilla)
1 c. sour cream
1 egg
3 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
Instructions
Cream together shortening and sugar. Add flavoring, sour cream and egg. Mix together flour, baking powder and baking soda and add gradually to wet mixture.
Roll out like biscuits (1/4" thick) and cut into shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
