French Toast Casserole Bake by Khtqkc

Ingredients

Base: 2 T brown sugar 1/2 stick butter 1 Challah bread Egg mix: 4 eggs 1 c. milk 1/2 c. heavy cream 1 t. van. 1/2 t cinn 1/4 t nutmeg & ginger & salt Topper: 1/2 stick butter 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. b. sugar 1/2 c. nuts 1/4 t cinn, nutmeg

Instructions

melt butter, brown sugar --> coat bottom of tray

put slices of challah bread in

whisk egg mix, pour over, refrigerate overnight

350* for 45 min. -- halfway through, uncover foil, spread butter mix on top

Makes 1 tray - feeds 8-10
