Chocolate Macaroons by Halle

Baking takes 15 minutes cooking takes 15-20 minutes makes 24 macaroons 350*F/180*C

Ingredients

2 medium eggs 3 oz(85g) semisweet chocolate 1 1/2 cups(175g) ground almonds 1/2 cup(115g) superfine sugar cookie sheet-Waxed Paper-3 bowls-Saucepan-Wooden Spoon-Whisk or electric mixer-Metal spoon-Teaspoon-Wire rack

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven.Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.Separate the eggs and put them in two different bowls.

2-Break the chocolate into a bowl and heat it over a pan of simmering water until it melts.Stir the chocolate until smooth.

3-Whisk egg whites until stiff,the fold the almonds,sugar, and egg whites into the chocolate until mixed together.

4-Put teaspoons of the mixture onto the cookie sheet.Bake for 15-20 minutes,then move to a wire rack to cool.
