Special creamed corn by Ed

Ingredients

1/3 cup butter 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup heavy-whipping cream 1 cup milk 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. salt Dash pepper 5 cups of frozen corn, thawed 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. In a sauce pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until smooth. Gradually add cream, milk, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 mins. Add corn; heat through.

2. Transfer to an un greased 1 1/2 qt. broiler proof dish. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Broil 5" from the heat for 3-5 mins or until lightly browned and bubbly.
