MAGGIE'S TACO MEAT by Daellam

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef 1/2 bell pepper 1/4 onion 2 cloves garlic 4 ounces tomato sauce 1 tablespoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

Brown meat in a heavy skillet, draining all grease. Coarsely chop bell pepper, onion and garlic and purée in a blender with tomato sauce, water, coming, salt and pepper. Pour liquid into cooked, drained ground beef and simmer for 30 minutes, adding a little water from time to time if it gets too dry. Serve on warm tortillas with julienned lettuce,chopped tomato, avocado and cheese.
